Origins
Hello and Welcome!
I’m Linda Nelson, creator of the Memorial Casket Drape™ and Casket Keepsakes Funeral Products. I am familiar with the feelings that come during this difficult experience, and I sincerely hope that you will feel the comfort and reassurance that comes with time.
My experience with funerals started several years ago when my father passed away from cancer at age 60. Within a few years, one of my older sisters also passed away — cancer, age 47. The following year — another sister passed away from cancer, age 49.
After each funeral, I would collect a flower or two as a fragile token of remembrance, only to watch them wither and die within a few days! I envisioned a lasting memorial item that would adorn the casket during the funeral service and serve as a treasured remembrance afterward.
I began planning the Memorial Casket Drape as a busy mother of five young children, experimenting at home on my sewing machine. Several years went by — life happened! I filed a patent, graduated kids from high school, sent them off to college, finished my own college degree, and finally had time to focus on my idea!
It is my hope that a beautiful Memorial Casket Drape will add warmth and dignity to your loved one’s funeral and at the same time, provide you with a meaningful keepsake. Please feel free to share your experience and pictures with me! I would love to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Linda Nelson

Loving Wife & Mother
In 2022, my mother passed away. After moving in with us in 2014, she dealt with Alzheimer’s and the ravages of cancer. Despite all that, she remained a cheerful and devoted mother to me. I was pleased to be able to honor her memory with a memorial casket drape.
“Loving Wife & Mother” was the sentiment that best described her 96 years of loving service for her family.
